Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the use of services provided by Tillify Technologies ("Tillify Technologies," "we," "our," or "us"), including web hosting, business email, website development, managed IT services, cloud services, and related technology solutions.

By using our services, you agree to comply with this AUP.

 

 

1. Purpose

This AUP protects the security, reliability, and integrity of our services, our customers, and the Internet community.

 

 

2. Lawful Use

Customers may use our services only for lawful purposes.

You agree not to use our services in violation of any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation.

 

 

3. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited.

Illegal Content

You may not use our services to store, publish, distribute, or transmit content that:

  • Violates any law or regulation

  • Promotes illegal activity

  • Infringes on intellectual property rights

  • Contains fraudulent or deceptive material

  • Violates another person's privacy or legal rights

 

 

Spam and Unsolicited Messages

Customers may not:

  • Send unsolicited commercial email (spam)

  • Operate bulk email campaigns without authorization

  • Use purchased or harvested mailing lists

  • Send deceptive or misleading communications

  • Relay email through unauthorized servers

 

 

Malware and Security Threats

You may not:

  • Distribute viruses, ransomware, spyware, worms, or other malicious software

  • Attempt unauthorized access to any system or network

  • Conduct phishing or social engineering attacks

  • Interfere with the security of any service

  • Circumvent authentication or access controls

 

 

Network Abuse

Prohibited activities include:

  • Denial-of-service (DoS) or distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks

  • Port scanning or vulnerability scanning without authorization

  • Network flooding

  • Packet spoofing

  • Unauthorized interception of communications

 

 

Fraudulent Activities

Customers may not use our services for:

  • Identity theft

  • Financial fraud

  • Credit card fraud

  • Pyramid or Ponzi schemes

  • Impersonation of individuals or organizations

  • Deceptive business practices

 

 

4. Web Hosting

Customers are responsible for all content hosted within their accounts.

Hosted content must not:

  • Contain malicious code

  • Consume excessive server resources that negatively affect other customers

  • Circumvent hosting limitations

  • Violate copyright or trademark laws

We may suspend accounts that negatively impact server stability or security.

 

 

5. Business Email Services

Customers using email services must not:

  • Send spam

  • Send phishing emails

  • Forge email headers

  • Use deceptive sender information

  • Distribute malware

  • Operate open email relays

Repeated violations may result in immediate suspension.

 

 

6. Website Security

Customers are responsible for maintaining the security of websites they own or manage, including:

  • Using strong passwords

  • Keeping software updated

  • Maintaining current plugins and themes

  • Removing known vulnerabilities

  • Protecting administrative accounts

 

 

7. Resource Usage

Customers may not intentionally consume excessive computing resources that negatively affect service for others.

Examples include:

  • Excessive CPU usage

  • Excessive memory usage

  • Excessive database activity

  • Excessive bandwidth consumption

  • Cryptocurrency mining

  • Automated resource abuse

Where appropriate, we may recommend upgrading to a more suitable hosting plan before taking action.

 

 

8. Monitoring and Enforcement

To maintain the security and reliability of our services, we may investigate suspected violations of this AUP.

Where permitted by law, we reserve the right to:

  • Monitor service performance and security

  • Investigate abuse reports

  • Remove content that violates this AUP

  • Suspend or terminate services

  • Cooperate with law enforcement or legal authorities when required

 

 

9. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Maintaining current contact information

  • Securing account credentials

  • Backing up their data unless backup services are included in their agreement

  • Promptly reporting suspected security incidents

  • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations

 

 

10. Reporting Abuse

If you believe our services are being used in violation of this AUP, please contact us.

Provide as much detail as possible, including:

  • Date and time of the incident

  • Relevant IP addresses or domain names

  • Screenshots or supporting documentation, if available

  • A description of the suspected violation

 

 

11. Violations

Violations of this AUP may result in one or more of the following actions:

  • Warning notice

  • Temporary suspension of services

  • Removal of offending content

  • Permanent account termination

  • Reporting to applicable authorities when required by law

Nothing in this AUP limits any other rights or remedies available to Tillify Technologies under applicable law or contract.

 

 

12. Changes to This Policy

We may modify this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time.

Changes will take effect when posted on our website with an updated Effective Date.

Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
